Lost Journey

I was HACKED and then a few days later

A killer VIRUS came through and wiped out my entire

hard drive and deemed my computer completely useless!!!

That means 12 years or more of documents, pictures, files, vinyl projects and software, family records etc. 

GONE!

I know anyone can relate to the thought of this horror and I never thought

this would become my reality but it did. 

Biggest regret of this event is that I kept procrastinating my blog. 

I had so many pictures and stories to tell about the 4th of July in Washington DC

and the pictures from our move and travel across the Atlantic and our 

first reactions and moments in Hungary.

GONE!

I am sure I could probably try to go back and least put down my thoughts and write in detail about these things, but to me, without pictures it seems pointless. And BORING! 

Blogs are for pictures and stories the blogs with only written text are reserved for those 

blessed with the gift of creative and intriguing writing. 

Sadly that is not me!

However, amongst most trials and hardships there is usually a glimmer of hope and light that comes sometimes after throwing a tantrum or two, but none the less it eventually comes. 

Mine came in the forms of an 

1. an external hardrive

 (still not helpful with the events I previously listed because for that to happen it would have had to be plugged in, and in a cruel twist of fate that was something on my list of things to do) 

2. A new MAC BOOK PRO

Figured now was as good as any to make the switch!

3. A brilliant BROTHER IN LAW AND NEPHEW who 

put my computer life along with nearly 15,000 pictures  my new computer.

4. Facebook

some of the lost photos at least made their way on there. 

and 

5. HOPE

 that once they receive my hardrive in the mail they can recover the lost photo.s

For now we will move forward and start from where we can. 

But, please keep your fingers crossed that maybe the posts will appear sometime in the future!
