I don't know why I have never taken my kids apple picking before
but after an invite from a friend to go this year
I am kicking myself that I haven't indulged in this
seemingly popular fall tradition amongst
many families before.
I can't get over how much I am loving
having so many apples around my house
to be there for any sort of apple baking whim that I might have.
I am not sure I have baked this much in years.
Great for my tummy but not so much for my thighs.
We liked it so much we attended an embassy family activity the
next weekend doing the same thing. This way Mack could come with us and
try it out. He was out with Dad the time before on some
important father/son business.
It was a different orchard but still lots of fun.
