Later on today this happened......The only thing I can figure is that Mack decided he wanted to see how his scooter tasted while riding it and obviously that didn't turn out well. How many times have I told my children to keep things out of their mouths? Aughh!! After an emergency visit to the dentist we found out that the four front teeth were knocked loose but appear at this time to not have any root or nerve damage. All good news. A hairline fracture in the bone plate just above his front teeth, returning in 10 days for a follow up x-ray and exam, and the cost of bringing a dentist off the lake on a holiday not so good news. Its okay I guess, this kid doesn't need to go to college!
This picture isn't the best at showing the disgusting mess of his gums. However, you can see the bruising. I also know after watching him ride his bike that we are in for many more emergencies like this in our future.

ohhhhh ouch. I totally know how this feels. I fell on my face, from ice, with my hands in my pockets when I was in kindergarten. I still remember how it hurt. And yes, I had beautiful gray teeth from it until they fell out. But the permanent ones were alright. So sorry to hear about all the "trouble" with this new one. Hope all is well with you all, miss you!
Poor thing!!! I bet that hurt!! I loved the video of him on his bike though. What a big boy! Hope you're feeling well. ((HUGS))
Wow! Poor Mack! That does not sound like fun at all!
He looks awesome on his bike. Way to go!
Yikes! Poor guy! I am glad that he didn't hurt himself worse. Must have been pretty scary! :(
How are you doing?
Heather, you have had quite the week. I'm glad Cam was with you when the tire went flat. I can just see you trying to change the tire by yourself, pregnant with two kids! I'm glad Mack's teeth will be okay. Take it easy for the next few weeks. I have a few fun books I can recommend if you like.
That is awesome that he can ride his bike without training wheels. Not so awesome about the teeth thing though!!
