What've of we been up too!

I have had people ask because I haven't posted anything new in awhile if we had drowned in poop. I had to laugh but mostly I wanted to cry. Because Creed is still not pooping in the toilet. I am sure he has some psychological problem as to why he insists on waiting for the night pull up or when we are out in public to share his lovely little present with us. So I am asking or more like pleading with those that have hopefully gone through this and have conquered it to share their knowledge. I have decided that Cam and I are not any good at potty training.
Okay so I am done with that and am moving on. Not too much new going on at our house, just the usual summer activities. However, this weekend I have found something to share. I will start with Friday night Cam and our neighbor with his son took the boys to the Central States fair to see the tractor/truck pull and while waiting for the event they rode some rides and played games. One of the carnies talked Cam into letting the boys try their hands at the dart game. Apparently Creed walks up to the counter which he can barely see over and throws the dart and first try hits the bulls eye. Is that crazy?!? Cam said the carnies new banter to entice others to her game was "this is so easy, even a 3 year old can win". So Creed and his new best friend "Stripes" have been inseparable since.
The most traumatizing event (well for me anyway) happened Saturday morning as I was getting ready to give the boys a bath I hear Mack casually say "Mom there is a spider in the tub," not at all with any anxiousness or concern. I assuming just the usual house spider open the curtain to find this
If I wasn't completely frozen in fear I would have put an object next to it to show you the comparison in size but look closely and you can see it takes up most of the corner of the tub. This thing was by far the largest spider I have see outside of a zoo or pet store. Good thing Cam was home, this was something I could not have taken care of. (I probably would have packed up the kids and left until he came home.) Even he was unprepared for the size when I said there was a spider the size of a tarantula in the bathtub. He assumed I was over dramatizing since he knows how I am with spiders. Needless to say bug sprayers are coming soon!

I am glad you are over the poop thing. We have had a lot of that also lately. I hate spiders also. Wow, I would of screamed pretty loud!

I hate wolf spiders! I hear that they are not poisonous, but they are so big and hairy! I ran one over with my car after stunning it to kill it once. You just can't squish those the old fashioned way or you have to clean up a huge mess! YUCK!

ACK!!!! That was huge!!! I would have been seeing that in my dreams for a week after that.

Glad y'all are well. Not too much longer till baby boy Shirley arrives (I'm secretly hoping you'll name him Cullen)!!

Yep, looks like a wolf spider. Maybe the same one that Wendy found in that house, but it got away....Eeeeeek

Sorry about the potty training issues. I am no help. Each of my kids were so different. I say just give him some time to decide he is ready. Some kids no matter how hard you try and how many ways you try they just are determined to do it their way and in their time. Not very comforting, sorry.

Not to scare the crap out of you or anything, but that is not a wolf spider... it looks more like a hobo or brown recluse- both ont good to have in your home! Go spiderkillers! Nasty little (or not so little) things aren't they? What's worse, spiders or poop? :0)
