My mom came out the end of March for a week long visit to say Goodbye.
A goodbye for her to her east coast grandkids in NJ and DC before she and my dad left on
another LDS mission. This time to Nauvoo IL.
And a really long goodbye for us since we would be leaving for Hungary while they were gone.
We all know how much I hate goodbyes and this one was no different.
Especially since it was MY MOM!!
As usaul we had a great time and cherished our moments together.
National Harbor is right across the river from our house and is a great place to go eat and do boutique shopping.
There is also a fun beach area with a buried statue whose vital limbs are exposed that kids love to play and climb on.
It is a favorite spot of ours.
| I think he picked a good one. :D |
The DC cousins saying goodbye to Grandma at the Airport!
My sister Katie and I saying our goodbyes….so sad to say goodbye to my Mommy!

Goodbyes are hard! Technology makes it a little easier :) I am looking forward to hearing about your new adventures. And I LOVE those pictures of your boys on the limbs (I can totally see my boys doing the same exact things!)
