Birthday Season

As you can probably tell I am playing "the blog catch up game" now that I have some free time on my hands.
So even though all these posts are a little outdated these events actually did happen and therefore need to be documented. :D
Birthday Sombrero from Chevys

took Krispy Kremes to school for their class treats

Cal is thoroughly enjoying his donut

Birthday weekend this year was a joint family party for the two boys
with cousins and Cam flying in from his training for the weekend.
I have never claimed to be a cake decorator and this year was no exception,
Mack requested a ninjago lego cake and the pictures he showed me
I knew I couldn't deliver and to be honest was to exhausted to really even want to try.
So I came up with my own pathetic version and he was a good sport
and pretended it was cool.

Hey, before you judge me know this;
I worry more about the taste of my baked goods and not as much about the presentation. However, This rule of thumb only applies to my baked goods,
as a general rule I am usually a presentation kind of girl.

And for the record, the made from scratch cake and homemade frosting was DELICIOUS!
And Creed made it ultra simple and asked for
a cinnamon scone to be his cake.

can you tell he loves cinnamon scones?

just proof that cousin Conner does exist, all the other recent events he was out of town.
So it was deemed extremely necessary to include this picture!
