Callan Cameron Shirley graced our lives October 2 at 3:39p.m. Weighing a whopping 8lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long. By far our biggest baby. Good thing I didn't go to my due date or he would have been huge. He has Mack beat by almost 3lbs. My water broke around 9am which has never happened to me before and I got my epidural around 2:00 and after 7 or so pushes he was here. The cord was wrapped around his neck so the vacuum was used. He also he sat in my pelvis for 20 minutes waiting for the Dr. (thanks labor and delivery nurses) so his face was all bruised. Hence the blue/gray coloring. Luckily he pinked up nicely and his head shaped up nicely too. He has a lot of black hair. Well at our house its a lot. The other boys were blonde and bald. Cal is very sweet and poor boy has no idea what is in store for him at our crazy house. Creed loves being a big brother and loves to be near him. Mack of course is an old pro at being a big bro so the newness doesn't have him quite as mesmerized.

Hooray! He is finally here! I've been checking everyday. Isn't it so fun to have them here. I swear I had forgotton what it was like to have a sweet little baby at home. They are such a blessing. I'm glad everything went well. Allie had the cord around her too. It's always an adventure, I guess. Congratulations! Take it easy for the next few days (ya, right:)

YEAH! I'm so happy for you guys. I love his name. I'm glad things went well, other than the brusing and vaccum usage. How's number three treating you? I'm sure you will adjust fine. Take it easy and enjoy those moments when it's just you and him in the night, they won't last long. :)
