I couldn't risk forgetting this so I had to get on and post it immediately. Tonight in family prayer it was Macks turn and I usually crack up at least once during one of the boys prayers but never multiple times. So Mack's prayer tonight starts out fairly typical but then the good stuff, you know the stuff that is really in his heart and that is always my favorite. "please bless me to do back flips on the trampoline when I am bigger, help me when I turn 8 to become a Baptist, (by far my favorite line I have ever heard in his prayers) and help me not to get pushed down the stairs like I almost did by Creed today that would really hurt, and bless me to be nice to Creed and be a good big brother when I am older like a Dad. (not now mind you, but when he is older)
Anyway too classic of stuff that I knew if I waited until after all my sunday dishes and everything was done I would forget. Thanks for indulging me!

Sooo cute! I love little kids prayers. My Maddy prays every night that her Uncle David will be able to drive home safe from his mission. Trouble is, he is serving a mission in England and will have a heck of a time driving home!
Oh to be that a child again. What a weet boy. I smiled when I read it. Hope you are feeling well.
That made my day! How funny.
One time in Primary, Isaac said, "and please bless my dad to stop swearing." Chris was not so pleased about that.
What a sweetie he is! I had a good chuckle from that. I sure miss that little boy!
Too cute! For some reason Addi, our 5 year old always says "in the name of gonna Jesus Christ, Amen. I have no idea what that means or where she got it from but it happens every time. You almost want to video their cute prayers.
I love it! When Eli's brother left on his mission we went to the MTC with the kids and of course everyone was teared up. For the next month every time both of our boys would pray they would "bless Andrew that he won't be such a cry baby on his mission." So innocent and honest.
I love those sweet prayers. Looks like you are doing the boy thing also. I love it. Congrats! The real question everyone asks is, Are you going to try for a girl? Have a good week!
I can't imagine having a SPEAKING child! That's so funny! Hey, if you ever have time, I need some advice about being on my own w/the baby, and you're the only person I know of who has been doing that for a long time. I'm sure you're used to it, but I know it must still be hard-if you get the chance, drop me a line! kateonmaui@gmail.com Thanks!
How sweet! Are you okay with him becoming a baptist when he is eight? How funny! Thanks for sharing.
Are you kidding? I love this post! My favorite things these days all come out of the mouth of these little munchkins! Sassy or not, it cracks me up!
Heather,
I just got your blog off Kristen's (Bond). My Mom told me you were having another boy. Yea! It's nice to know we do something well.
