Last night after we pulled onto base we drove by our old house to see if it was still around or if it had succumbed to the wrecking ball. Sure enough it was there and looked pretty sad and dilapidated. The new houses are almost done so I think the wrecking ball is coming soon. Mack didn't really remember the house, after all he was 2 1/2 when we moved. He did like hearing about it though and me pointing to his bedroom window. We aren't sure if we are living in base housing or venturing on our own again. So for now we are living in the temporary housing available on base. We will keep you posted.
We miss our friends and life in California but look forward to starting our Airforce life again.
our pathetic OLD house!

hi heather! this is jane used-to-be-wallin! :) send me an email at weeklydinners@gmail.com so we can reconnect - would love to get in touch! :)
Heather,
Glad to see that our half of the "old" house at Ellsworth is still standing. Glad you made it to SD safely. We will be visiting the middle of June. Be sure to email me with your new phone number after you get more settled.
That is so cool that all 3 of your children will be born in SD so far. That is unbelievable for a military family.
Good luck in getting settled.
Pam :)
WOw Heather,
I can't believe you guys are already there!! I hope you are able to find housing soon. Glad you all made it safely.
I felt the same way earlier today when we stepped off the plane in San Antonio after our Utah trip. It's so good to be "home." Glad you guys made it safely!
Hi Heather,
I miss South Dakota so much and I've only been gone since January. Hopefully we'll see you all when we get back to South Dakota in a couple of months.
Welcome back! Glad you made it here safely. It was so fun to see your family at church yesterday. :) If you do go off base for housing, make sure to stay in the 3rd ward. ;)
you made it!
we miss you... boo hoo for us.
Heather, hey I know you tried to call me back on Mothers Day, but your message got all messed up with the reception or something so it took me a few days to figure out who called, sorry ha! I can't believe your back in SD-that drive must of ROCKED! Give me a call again so I can get all of your new info and to catch up. Love ya, Mandy
Congratulations on your move! It sounds like you had a great time on your trip. It is always exciting to return to a familiar place. That is how we felt when we moved to San Antonio. It is nice to know where to get your hair done, who is a good dentist, where the good restaurants are,etc.. Good luck finding a place to live. You are looking adorable by the way!
I'm laughing b/c all of Mckay's pants look the same as Macks...holes and all...I refuse to buy him any more pants until he quits sliding and skidding all over the floor!
