"OH SNAP"

Those are the words that came out of Mackguire's mouth, along with the swinging arm while snapping his fingers. Followed by "I thought it was a girl." I think he was more shocked then disappointed that his sibling radar was off. Cam and I took care of the disappointed looks for him, and Creed just sitting there I am sure wondering why this creature on the screen is being called a baby. I think it kind of frightened him, he stayed by my side the whole time.

So there it is. For some reason the Lord wants lots of Shirley men on this earth and do you blame him they are great guys.

Of course we were hoping for a girl, that goes without saying. However, Cam and I do know that for people who were never expected to have kids we really can't complain about 3 healthy and happy boys. I just know this gray patch of hair on top of my head is going to spread to like a fierce virus.

As for names Mack had Sunshine Lollypop picked out for his baby sister, so in a way I guess I am glad to dodge that bullet. We asked him after the appt. if he had a boy name and he couldn't think of one at first. Later on though he said Caden. We told him that name was taken by his cousin already but he said that doesn't matter we can have two. Which should be a huge compliment to his cousin Caden who is always so good to him. So at least Cam and I don't have to worry about Sunshine Lollypop!
Sorry for the wierd graphic picture, I just thought the three male statues was fitting and applied somehow.

Congratulations!!! Wow, 3 boys. I love Sunshine Lollipop. Robert wanted to name Scott Hamihaki (which means spider in Finnish) Yellow Binki. Oh the stuff they come up with!

Congrats! Three boys will be so fun. They will be the best of friends. Take it from me, girls are drama. We are considering having one more, and pray for a boy. Jeff says he can't do another girl.

I have been waiting for this information! Congrats!
Sometimes we hope for either boy or girl, but when they get here- it doesn't matter one bit! You just love 'em so much.

So exciting to add a new one to your family.

I love it! I'm sure that's what we'll be having too. The Peña boy gene is too strong. And I love the name. Our boys have decided this one needs to be Coco Masa. They're convinced, boy or girl that the name is perfect. They are so funny! Congratulations!

Although girls are so fun to dress up, you won't miss the DRAMA!!! I'm glad for my one girl, but three boys is gonna be weird for me too! The funny thing is, is that my kids like the name Caden for our baby, but Mitch and I still are stuck on Creed. (You are the only one we know with that name) Sounds like we're on the same brain waves. Hope you are feeling well! Congrats!

Congratulations on having another boy! Sunshine lollipop would have been such a lovely girl's name! I agree with the statement that you won't be missing out on the drama. I am already dreading twin teenage girl hormones! Yikes!

Congrats on another boy! I happen to like families with same sex kids. I think they are kind of special! Maybe you can get a female dog and name her Sunshine lollipop. That name is too good to be forgotten!

I have always said that boys are best. Of course, now that I have some really cute and sweet granddaughters I might be changing my song just a bit.

Heather (Terry) Shirley! I love what you said about spending spare time and not spare time blogging. I am super busy today, but I had to write a note when I found your blog.
Do you remember running outside in shorts and no shoes in the dead of winter in Rexburg when we were kids? I would go nuts if my kids did that!
Sorry we missed you in Cali. Hope ND is great, again.
