Awful Tower

Ahh... another Fall Break means another opportunity to
check off some more places off the
 good ol' bucket list.

Bad News. Cam had to work and wasn't able to travel.
Good News. My sister was still in town and was. :)

We planned to take all the kids to Paris and Disneyland Paris.
We figured that was a fairly safe solution
to entertaining 5 kids for a week.
It is a trip that my kids will always remember,
especially because they got to share it
with their cousins.

It was Callan's first disney experience and the other
two have not been since our days living in California,
so being able to see their reactions
and share in the excitement of an
overly exuberant 5 year
old was more memorable for
me than any ride ever would be.

Mack and Maddie ready for take off!

On top of the eiffel tower or "Awful" tower as Callan thought it was called.

I am not sure where all this love was coming from, but I will take it.

My sister Katie and I in front of the Louvre.

The Mona Lisa

Callan's favorite ride Autotopia

Dumbo boarding passes, looks like they are ready for flight.

Our hotel was almost as much fun as Disney itself.
Although they did forget to tell us that Speedos were mandatory before we arrived.
So much to the kids dismay-- except for Callan who LOVES wearing them-- we were forced to buy overpriced
ones being sold in the vending machines.
I accused the poor pool attendees as running "quite the racket,"
but the kids were good sports and for the sake of getting to play in the pool they wore them with
only a little apprehension.

Mandatory Speedos?! That's the funniest thing I have ever heard.

Mack's expression is priceless. Who ever thought up vending machine Speedos...scratch that, MANDATORY vending machine Speedos! Truth is stranger than fiction.
