We had Cam's party the day before he left. I loved that when I asked the boys what kind of cake we should make Dad they both said "soldier cake". I guess his deployment was on their minds too.
I sure tried to do a camo cake but I have no skills when it comes to cake decorating.
But for some reason I love to try. I also forgot to get candles so we had to be creative on the 35. OOPS! 
Today is my man's birthday!
Yesterday he left for a 6 month deployment.
the day before that we celebrated.
Today I am not as sad as yesterday or even the day before, but I know tomorrow and the days to follow will get easier in some ways and harder in others.
One day down is another day without him
BUT it is also another day closer to when he comes home.
I love you Cam and Happy birthday to my personal American Hero.

what a wonderful blog. Happy birthday to Cami. I am so grateful to God for men/women and their families for the sacrifices they make to keep us safe and protected. Seth will be way for nearly 5 weeks and it had me thinking about men/women like Cami that are gone much longer and are gone in the name of freedom and protection. I am so touched, so inspired by you both and your sacrifices. Sending my love your way!

You and Cam have a beautiful family and I know you are already such a strong woman...I can only imagine this will make each one of you stronger, and the rest of us even more proud to know you. I thank you for both of your sacrifice for our country.
I didn't realize Cam was being deployed. My heart goes out to you. And yes, I want to add my gratitude to you and your family for your sacrifice. Thank you for being one of the many, many brave wive's who say goodbye so me and my children can sleep in peace each night. I pray that your children will be sweet little angels (ya right, we both have boys and know that's the exception) and that the days pass quickly. Hang in there. You'll be in our prayers. Thank you, thank you.

No, Dr. Sam isn't in our ward, but his office is very close to my house. I asked at a RS play group about a dentist to see, and everyone there all referred him. He lives in Castle Rock which is just South of Denver, and just informed us after our last visit that he was trying to get into a Denver practice. Very sad because he is great and I finally thought we would see the same dentist more than twice but even if we aren't moving the dentist is!
I'll have to talk to Lani, how about everyone from Rapid migrates south!! Skeltons are here, we get together now and then. Appalonies moved from here to England right after we got here. Send more my way!!
