Groznjan, Croatia

While in Porec, a few of the locals recommend we 

make a detour to see this old walled city, a hidden gem 

according to the natives. 

We were promised that we wouldn't regret it. 

Guess what? 

We didn't!!

 Groznjan, a fortification that has protected various groups, 

from Celts to Italians.

 Its first Historical reference was

in 1102!

You would think the rain and our lack of being prepared for 

such rain would make this stop unenjoyable. 

However, anytime you get to have an excuse 

to stop for hot chocolate is a good day.

It's even a better day when that hot chocolate happens to 

be the best Hot Chocolate you have ever had.

I still dream about it...
