Halloween phew!

My family LOVES Halloween.
I am sure no more than your average American family, but
I am not going to lie the thought of not being able to celebrate and share in
the Halloween fun while living abroad kind of made
the kids and I a little worried.

So you can imagine our delight when we found out that
there is in fact some ghost and goblin festivities here.
Not only does the school have a carnival and trunk or treat
but the American embassy families all pull together to
arrange a trick or treating type event for the kids.

We invited some of our new foreign friends to join us for dinner and experience an American style trick or treating.

Mack found some of his fellow Hogwarts classmates.

Callan made the cutest skeleton and please notice that Creed made it out of the house that night not realizing he had two different shoes on...or so he says...

this kid was thrilled to be Harry Potter. In fact he still continually wears his glasses around the house.
I must get some pictures of that great black male photos for later on...

Always looking for an opportunity to dress up, I volunteered to help at the school carnival.
My eyelashes turned out to be quite the talk amongst the kids.
