Ok so before we could leave this state we really wanted to see a few more things in the area. It is amazing when you move some place and you think "gosh I have so much time here, we will go ahead and see those things later." Then before you know it, times up. You are moving. (and I know anyone who moves around a lot knows exactly what I am talking about) A sidenote however, that is one of the things I have loved so much about our military life. Being able to move and be apart of so many different places in this country.
So now in our last two weeks here in CA together as a family we are trying to cram some things in. So for Martin Luther King Jr day we decided to take a trip down scenic Hwy1 and see Big Sur and Point Lobos. Two gorgeous locations along the coast. So our favorite place was Pfeifer Beach in Big Sur. A small $5 price for an amazing look at one of God's finest creations. The boys and Kinga absolutely loved climbing the rocks, looking at the purple sand (yes purple glittery sand) and exploring the area. So here are some fun shots I took of our day. See you soon after our next adventure. DisneyLand....

Cute blog! I love the pictures! It makes me want to take my kids to California for a vacation on the beach--they would love it! Maybe someday!
