My three boys

This is a once in a lifetime photo…
It will only happen once and for one year only.
All 3 boys attending the same school!
Mack- 5th grade
Creed- 3rd grade
Callan- Kindergarten

Although sending my baby to Kindergarten
almost broke me, I mean it, serious sadness overwhelmed me.
I even went to "lay" on the school counselors couch
after I dropped him off at the door because I was so sad.
Luckily she is a good friend and didn't judge…

In order to keep the apron strings a little intact I did sign up to be
Callan's room mom. Hanging out all year with
those sweet kinders was so much fun and a perfect way
to hang out with my buddies.

Kindergartners start a few days after the older grades,
So this is Callan's official first day photo!

Look who came to Hungary!

Nothing is more exciting to my kids than when their
Grandmas and Grandpas come to visit.
So having a them come for a month
is pure elation.

Being summer time, we were able to pack in a whole
lot of travel and fun.

Like watching some of the World Cup that was being shown on the big screen in one of
 Budapest's main Squares,

or a day at Hungary's beach, Lake Balaton

and getting to Celebrate Grandpas Birthday together was priceless.

We traveled to Paris,

and the Palace of Versailles.

However, being in Normandy and seeing
the place where some of America's finest fought and
died for a country that wasn't their own, truly
was above and beyond all of our expectations.
And an experience that every American should have.

Our picture perfect French countryside house only added
charm and quaintness to our trip.

A day spent at Mont Saint Michelle was ideal and truly like no other place
we have been too,

But honestly, just our days at home enjoying our area
together were just as great and memorable.

Thanks for coming Grandparents!!

My days in Nauvoo

Enjoy this photo.
It's a rare sighting of all 8 of us together.
It makes my heart swell a little, well a lot, to see this.

All the adults that were in the Nauvoo temple together.
My Dad's brother Jim and his lovely wife Jackie are always so supportive
and try to come to every event.
It was really great having them with us.

The whole family,
well minus Cam and 6 grandkids…but close. :)

I had always wanted to see the Pageants in Nauvoo and my family missed them when
we were there a few years ago. Despite my falling asleep due to serious jet lag,
I did really enjoy them.

I love this photo.
Living out of my great country for as long as I have, and seeing Ol' Glory while
hearing the national anthem gets me every time.

Some of the not so littles anymore enjoying some video game time in my room while waiting for the
hotel pool to open up.

The simple yet entertaining pioneer games in Nauvoo are always so fun to play and to watch.

Just making some fun pioneer crafts at the fair

Some of our crew before one of the many great live shows

Such lovely little ladies I'm lucky enough to call my nieces.

50 Golden Years

On August 20th 1964
These two crazy kids decided to get married…

50 years, 6 kids, 24 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild later
they are not only dressing alike, but they are also celebrating 50 years of Marriage!

To celebrate this beautiful occasion my family gathered together
in a very meaningful and special place for my parents, Nauvoo, Illinois.

Although, I couldn't bring my crew across the pond with me,
I am so grateful I had the opportunity to go and be apart of this.
It was three days of fun events and family time.
Something that doesn't happen very often for my family.

My talented sisters worked tirelessly on this party and reunion for the family.
It turned out perfectly. Great food, atmosphere and people.

I have some pretty cute nieces and nephews who I adore spending time with!
I felt privileged I got to hang with them and sit at their table.

I sure love these pictures of the two of them, so cute.
